ABOUT US

We believe in helping children achieve their goals by providing quality, expert, and individualized care. By partnering with quality providers and local businesses in the Raleigh and Wake Forest areas, Raleigh Primary Pediatric Speech Therapy is able to provide forward-thinking, creative, and tailored therapy for our patients. We provide the highest quality of care that engages and inspires the children we serve. Our treatment plans are customized to each individual and extended hours are offered for personalized consultation.

Screenings will look at basic age appropriate skills for a child's understanding and expression of language. Simple sound inventory will be assessed during screening. Once screening is completed, a therapist will determine if a more in depth comprehensive evaluation is needed.

During the evaluation you can expect to discuss your concerns with speech and language. A therapist will conduct an evaluation through parent questionnaire, observation, and formal standardized testing. Based on the evaluation results, the therapist will determine if therapy is warranted.

We offer family training and education during every session for carryover and generalization of therapy techniques. Treatment services include: receptive & expressive language delays, articulation/

phonological delays, pragmatic delays, alternative & augmented communication, fluency disorders, and feeding & swallowing disorders.

Our therapists are highly knowledgeable in the teletherapy service delivery model and can provide successful intervention services for children ages 1+ years. Staff are trained to keep young children engaged with varying levels of communication needs. Therapy typically consists of clinician led tasks with a mixture of parent coaching for our younger patients.
